ABOUT LOYOLA COLLEGE IN MARYLAND Loyola College in Maryland, established in 1852, is a Jesuit comprehensive university comprising a College of Arts and Sciences and The Sellinger School of Business and Management.  The college, which enrolls 3,400 undergraduates and 2,700 graduate students from across the country and grants bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees, challenges students to learn, lead and serve in a diverse and changing world. FACILITIES AKI classes are held in the newly renovated Fine Arts Building on the beautiful Evergreen Campus of Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.  In addition to the fine new classrooms, AKI participants will enjoy using the recital hall, the McManus Theater, a state-of the-art computer lab complete with electric pianos and the Finale music writing program, and will have access to practice rooms with new pianos.   Housing is available in Doyle Hall on the campus of neighboring Notre Dame College, within easy walking distance of Loyola's Fine Arts Building.  AKI students have access to both the Loyola (lunch only) and Notre Dame (breakfast, lunch and dinner) cafeterias. VISITING BALTIMORE Loyola College's campus, in an attractive residential area of suburban Baltimore, is a short drive from Baltimore City's Inner Harbor, home the National Aquarium , the Maryland Science Center, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, historic tall ships, and a waterside pavilion of shops and restaruants.  Also nearby are Fort McHenry, the Edgar Allen Poe House, the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Walters Art Gallery, the Babe Ruth Museum,the B&O Railroad Museum, and the American Visionary Arts Museaum.  Theatre and musical entertainment are just minutes away at the Mechanic Theatre, the Hippodrome Theatre, Center Stage, the Lyric Opera House, and Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
